The offense is what will make-or-break Wisconsin's season meaning all the pressure is on QB Graham Mertz.

nw____	15	Wisconsin fans will probably hate me for saying this but, if they had even an average QB, they'd be in my top 10. As is, I still think they could win 11 games primarily due to how high I am on their defense (despite losing a bunch of players, I still expect that they’ll be great on defense as long as Leonard is at the helm) and Braylon Allen (who was only 17 last year!). The changes they've made on offense are, in the end, going to determine how far this team goes. With a favorable schedule, though, I expect a really good year from the Badgers.

SpadeRyker	24	A really good defense and no clear answer at QB. Must be a Wisconsin team. The defense should be as stout as every with the only questions possibly being in the secondary, but even those are areas that should be above average compared to the average P5 team. Where Wisconsin will live or die is in the offense where they need to find a QB to take the reigns and play solid football. They don't need to be elite necessarily, they just have to be able to keep the offense moving to give the defense an assist. Scoring would be nice as well. Until Wisconsin answers the QB question, it's tough to place them much higher for me.

dusklord1	12	In Braelon Allen (and the defense) we trust! If Allen can keep the Wisconsin offense from looking utterly anemic as it did at times last year, they will go back to Indy. Unfortunately, they have crossovers against OSU and MSU, so they will probably need to win one of those games to comfortably win the division. Otherwise, they'll need to be flawless against the other teams in the west, and I don't think Wisconsin is that much better than the field for that to be something they can count on.
