+3 spots (previously 10). Man handled Army. Did a better job than 2 teams that were previously ahead of them (LSU and USC) plus Florida State didn't play this week. Explanation for that below. |

Decided victory against a much lesser opponent that helped them jump several spots when teams in front of them also struggled or lost. |

-1: Got the win over Army West Point.  Dropped a spot because of how Oklahoma State beat the shit out of Pitt. |

After having another team's flag literally planted in the middle of their field, Ohio State's main goal was to get back on track. That's exactly what they did in an easy win over Army. OSU will probably continue to breath easily until early October when Maryland comes to town. |

Ohio State just barely missed out to Oklahoma St, due to their loss last week to Oklahoma. This team looks like they will head into a week 9 match up against Penn State with only the Oklahoma loss, but will need to win out to be in the playoff conversation. |

From an absolutely abhorrent secondary to a pathetic running back experience, Ohio State is looking more like the Browns than usual.  Could the Browns beat Ohio State?  Maybe. |

JT Barrett threw for 270 yards and 2 TDs, maybe he's getting some confidence back. Oh and that kid Dobbins had 172 yards on just 13 carries... Kid is a monster. |

Not really sure where to put them. Their upside is incredible, but so far, the playcalling has been meh. They're still high for how they played against OU but not sure if I trust anyone else below them to be ranked above them. |

PLRCOAT: 3.25. Ohio State is tied with California. Don't get me wrong, I want on the Golden Bears hype train as much as the next guy, but I'm putting Ohio State first. Anyway, they're still hanging on in the top 25 despite not nabbing that big Oklahoma win because Army is a 1-pointer and Indiana is at 1.5 (due to their win over 1-pointer Virginia). |
