Clemson's defense was as good as advertised, but the offense looked a lot like last season's offense. DJU is probably the biggest thing holding the offense back and if Dabo makes a switch to Klubnik, the offense might improve. |

Yay? If DJ Uiungalale (I hope I spelled that right, it's 12:13 AM) remains the starter for any length of time the rest of the season, fire Dabo. I'm not kidding, right now it's night and day between him and Cade. Yes this is reactionary. Yes I will drop Clemson if I see DJ under center next week unless he finally turns god mode. Or halfway decent. |

+0 - Submitting this before the game is actually over but it's 27-10 with 7:30 left and Clemson is in the red zone so I feel pretty safe calling it |

DJ Uiagalelei is trash. There's really no other way to put it. Clemson looked awful offensively against Georgia Tech, a team that has now been outscored 141-10 over their last three games. If Dabo wants to do anything of note this season, he had better put in Cade Klubnik and fast. |

Week 1: Clemson 41, Georgia Tech 10
It was a 14-10 lead for Clemson in the third quarter before the Tigers shifted into maximum overdrive. The defense still looked nasty even without Brent Venables and DJ Uiagalelei was solid and would've had a more impressive final line if not for a few drops. |

Cade looks like the answer at QB. With him, Clemson is probably a playoff team and seeing him in action is why I did not drop Clemson further than this. If Dabo sticks with DJ, Clemson may not win the ACC for a second straight year. |

Move up 3 spots with ND and Utah losing. Also jumping unimpressive NC State. Even though Clemson looked the same as last year through much of their game, they let GT shot themselves in the foot and took advantage. |

This offensive line is legit crap. *Georgia Tech* pushed these guys around up front. But the defense is characteristically excellent, so they're still likely to have an excellent season. I agree with the consensus that Klubnik looked better than D.J., but I want to remind everyone that in limited action as a freshman, D.J. looked nearly as good as Trevor Lawrence; small sample sizes and not a lot of film can do wonders for a guy! |

What was that? I am going to need to be convinced that Clemson isn’t just Orange-Cat Iowa. DJU and Spencer Petras have at least one thing in common, and if your QB shares any traits with Petras, you’re not a top-5 team. Somehow left the Clemson and GT game feeling worse about both teams. It was ugly.
That said, if they make a change at QB, they might be terrifying— the Clemson we’re more accustomed to seeing over the last decade. Klubnik looked good to close things out. How does Dabo balance loyalty vs. what the tape shows? With DJU, they aren’t a playoff team and, combined with how bad the offensive line looked at times, may not even be a top ten team. |

The second half makes the game look much less close than it was. This offense is BAD. Defense to be determined since GT is not a good barometer but right now Clemson is just Orange Iowa |
