I don't know that I trust this offense as much as I trust Ryan Day and they don't have that elite win to push them past the other three teams.

Due_Connection179	6	Last Week #8 vs #25 Iowa : Won 31 - 0. I get very high on this team every season early (at least the AP Poll does as well). What's the difference between Penn State and the top 5? Domination (Washington), Best Win (Texas), B2B Champs (Georgia), Great Road Win (Ohio State). There's also this road block, called Ohio State, that seems to always trip up Penn State, and until they beat them I can't personally put them over the Buckeyes. Next Week at Northwestern - 26 pt favorites - Prediction : win but doesn't cover the spread

throwaway_6786	8	Hard to say anything bad for Penn State here, even though they slip down a spot. The Lions smothered the Hawkeyes from start to finish and posted a 31-0 shutout. Obviously, this game leaves me wondering whether Iowa is actually good or just masquerading as a good team, but only time will tell. Penn State is also helped out by WVU starting 3-1, and that boost in schedule strength gives PSU enough to be ahead of USC.
