If they can match up with other teams like Georgia in that way, then Michigan has a chance to win a title.

The schedule is what it is and to me, they've looked similar to Georgia in terms of treating games like practices. The overall resume isn't strong enough to justify keeping them ahead of Texas at this point to me.

nw____	7	Do I think Michigan is the 6th best team in the country? No. I think they're probably the 2nd best team. Have they earned that ranking yet? No. At some point, they're going to have to start showing a little more on the field. It is hard to put them over a team like Texas that has a great win against Bama on the road when Michigan is messing around with Rutgers for two quarters. I'm going to let the rankings work themselves out on this one.

Due_Connection179	8	Last Week #3 vs Rutgers : Won 31 - 7. Michigan has a similar problem to last season, where they can't seem to get started in games. The last two weeks they have gone into the locker room in one score games at home vs Bowling Green and Rutgers. They outscored them 34 - 0 in the 2nd half in those games, but it's still concerning to see vs lesser opponents (even though Rutgers has looked pretty solid so far). Next Week at Nebraska - 18 pt favories - Prediction : win and covers the spread

Michigan started slow, but finished strong in Harbaugh's return, and while their schedule has been weak, they've won every game handily. Still waiting to see what this team does against tougher competition, but at this point, it doesn't look like they're going to face a team that's good (let alone great) until November.
