Louisville has been a top team in the algorithm since the start. The win over ND combined with the total of 5 P5 wins, more than anybody in the country, gives Louisville the #1 spot. |

Beating Notre Dame like that makes them look a lot more legit. I still don't trust them after that NC State game but at least for now they deserve to be up here. |

A convincing win over Notre Dame lands Louisville at 10. It is very likely that they would not be this high if not for the ranks of 10-20 self-destructing this weekend. |

Louisville and ND essentially switch spots from last week. Louisville has still had their struggles this year at times, but they looked like an ACC contender taking down ND. We'll see how the Cardinals handle the increased weight of expectations. |

Undefeated Louisville is scary, and this time it looks to be a very team-centered push rather than having an offense built around a Heisman candidate. This team is smart and knows how to play, but their strength of conference schedule appears to be lacking. I think they may be hitting their ceiling, but teams in front of them could always mess up. Additionally, if they make it to the ACC title game, the outcome of that could seriously leapfrog them over a lot of other teams depending on how other seasons shake out. |

+8, Louisville gets a statement win over Notre Dame, which should put them on every top 25 ballot once the AP Poll comes out. I was skeptical of Jeff Brohm at first, but he seems to have given Louisville that extra edge they were missing when Satterfield was coach |

The lowest undefeated p5 team. They have won, yes, but haven't looked good. That was a good win against the first good opponent they have faced. But they have struggled in their other games, including only beating an awful IU team by one score. |
