Kirby Smart's squad has been on the wrong end of the Alabama scoreline a few times now. I think they get over the hurdle this year and are the lone SEC CFP team in 2019. |

Pattern of returning offensive starters on an elite unit continues. Back-to-back East titles (plus an outright SEC crown) for Kirb your Enthusiasm. |

Kirby Smart has built an extremely dangerous team. They've come so close to grabbing their first title since 1980 in recent years. This could be the year they finally reach the mountaintop as they feature a dangerous RB corp and have a three-year starter, Jake Fromm, leading the offense. |

The Bulldogs had a solid 2018 campaign and came very close to making the playoffs; they'll hope to improve on that this season. |

The only team from a raw talent perspective that can contend with Bama and Clemson as I see it. Maybe the best OL in the country, and huge potential with young WRs |

This year, the recruiting Kirby Smart has done really starts to show some payoff. Georgia was one of the best teams a year ago, and the few weaknesses Georgia had last year seem to be shored up. The offensive line and much of the defense is more experienced, more talented, and deeper than it was a season ago. Although the SEC East has several rising teams that will give Georgia their best shot, I expect Georgia to dominate most of their schedule, and if all goes as expected, Georgia will lock in either a playoff berth or a NY6 bowl game depending on how the SEC Championship Game plays out. |

I think these Top 3 teams are clear so far and Georgia looks for this to be the year they knock off Alabama. |

Eventually they'll do it right?  Bama can't keep squeaking it out forever?  But prove you can actually do it before I can give you the benefit of the doubt.  That said they were the first team to upset Alabama's #1 class title and in my mind is one of 3 teams that are serious title contenders. |

Similar to Ohio State, Georgia's recruiting has greatly increased these last two years. They are now playing and recruiting at an elite level under Kirby Smart. This could finally be the year they defeat Alabama  |

Record: 12-1. Just like last year, expect a lot of controversy around the Georgia Bulldogs. I don't expect another surprise blowout loss to a SEC West team this season. Which makes it all the more controversial when Georgia loses another close SEC Title game to Alabama and has that as the only loss on their schedule.Bowl Projection: Sugar Bowl |

The Bulldogs are a bit of a mystery to me. They always seem like the right pick preseason. Couple that with marquee games against the Irish, Gators, and Aggies, and they have on of the more favorable schedules of my top 8. If I had to pick a word to describe them, volatile seems right. They will chug along dominating opponents then the wheels seem to come off at a completely random time. |
