This ranking might seem too high now but USC has won double digit games 2 of their past 3 years and their composite ranking barely trails Ohio State and is comfortable ahead of Georgia.USC has never had below a top 4 composite class and with their talent, they should be able to compete with the Alabama/Ohio St teams. With all this talent, there is very little excuse for USC not to finish as a top 10 team. |

5/5 in Tier F: Despite PSU losing a ton on offense and having an uncertain QB situation, I can't put USC above them despite the fact that they should be much improved from last years disappointing season. Getting back to contending for the Pac-12 will take a lot of ifs to go the right way for them. |

Probably the shakiest I feel about any team on my preseason poll but that's alright. The Trojans have been on a wild ride but stand a chance in the PAC. Notable games will be Utah, Washington, Oregon, and Notre Dame. Win 3 of those and clean up the rest of the schedule and the Trojans are knocking at the door of a conference title and a possible shot a the playoffs. |
