bretticus33 | 11 | LSU will rue the miscues against FSU. Two failed 4th downs in the red zone in the first half and some dropped passes that would have led to huge plays, including one that led to an INT a couple plays later. The Tigers were completely outclassed and outcoached by FSU and the margin for error on the season is gone in regards to the CFP. The offense has to improve and clean up, and Brian Kelly has to start letting Harold Perkins get after the QB rather than play him in coverage. |

CharlemagneOfTheUSA | 16 | Movement: (-9) - I do think that LSU has quite a bit of potential, but Week 1 exposed that they aren't quite there just yet. This is still a good team though, and it would not shock me to see them back up in the top 10 at some point this year. Equally as unsurprising though would be the team dropping to a fringe top 25 team. It's really down to how Kelly coaches this team back from this loss. |
ChaseTheFalcon | 16 | |
cornholesurfer | 16 | Do I believe LSU is better than some of the teams ranked above them? Sure. But I refuse to put a winless team in the top 15. An uncalled for second half collapse and a secondary that needs serious work knocks the Tigers down 10 spots. |

texas2089 | 16 | The Tigers are a tough team to place. There was some good, some bad, and some ugly. The good: Jayden Daniels accounted for over 400 yards of total offense. The bad: Outside of Daniels, the rushing attack was nonexistent. Star LB Harold Perkins Jr was a virtual non factor in this game. The ugly: The Tigers were outscored 31-7 in the second half, including 31 straight by FSU to open the half. The Tigers are still an extremely talented team, and they also faced the stiffest competition of any other ranked team so it's tough to say how far they should fall. They can't afford to follow this game up with another dud though as SEC play begins for them in just 2 weeks. I'll give LSU the benefit of the doubt with their roster and keep them fairly high considering how badly they were whipped in the second half. |

ScaratheBear | 14 | See the FSU blurb... LSU came out competitive for the first half, but got totally shut down in the 2nd. It's a big hit to the Tigers hopes for the season, and really from the looks of things they've got a lot to work on. I still think that LSU can be a solid competitor in the SEC West, but my pick for them to win the division is looking like a bit of a longer shot now. |

throwaway_6786 | 20 | I could blame Brian Kelly for this, but it's more than that. When the talent levels of two teams are similar and one team outscores the other 31-7 in a half, coaching cannot be the sole blame. I'm willing to leave them in the Top 25 for three reasons: The Tigers led at halftime, FSU is a Top 5 team, and that was a road game for LSU in all but name. That being said, any further struggles will probably push this team out of the Top 25. |
