The difference between Clemson and Georgia, is the same difference from Georgia and South Florida. Clemson has given 3 quality teams their only loss off the season. |

Clemson looking impressive vs a VT team I had originally in the top 10. Also bumped them above Alabama due to a better resume so far. |

Unquestionably has the best resume. If you take that into account and you don't have Clemson at #1 then you're just wrong. |

Clemson has been given a test their last two weeks, and they have passed them both with relative ease. They and Alabama have shown that we might be in for Game 3 in January.  |

0 spots (previously 2). Went into Virginia Tech and managed to not only hold them from upsetting them, but nearly doubled the score on them and finally had a strong offensive AND defensive showing at the same time. Starting to truly look like a Playoff team now. |

Another fantastic win for the Tigers. The team clearly hasn't lost any steam from last year and Alabama vs. Clemson part 3 looks like a very real possibility right now. They're below Alabama, but make no mistake, they're every bit as terrifying. |

PLRCOAT: 15.324. Ah. Yes. This makes sense to my brain. And hey, they're at the same spot as they are in the AP Poll. I don't think this needs a ton of explaining - first of all, they're one of three teams with 5 FBS wins right now, and their wins are for the most part all great if unspectacular: 5.422 Auburn, 4.227 Boston College, 5.25 Virginia Tech, and 5.75 Louisville (also Kent State. They have 0 points. Sorry, Golden Flashes). That is a fantastic early season resume that is going to continue to improve, and I imagine they won't be stumbling out of the top 5 anytime soon (or even top 3, for that matter). |

Clemson is 27th in offensive efficiency and 24th on defense. However what I have seen on offense using the eye test. They make a couple big plays a game but can't keep the pedal to the metal. |
