Won’t get dinged too much with one loss that was on the road to a highly-ranked opponent and when many mistakes were self-induced, but another one would probably send them down further than this |

Bama could have very easily won this game, but due to now being a one loss team, I dropped them below the top undefeated teams for now. |

There's still the 'doomsday' 3 SEC team playoff scenario in play (and not entirely unlikely) where Alabama wins out, Georgia wins out until the SEC championship game, and Tennesee wins out, save for a loss to Georgia. I don't think there are any individual games where something that would screw up this scenario is likely to occur, but there are enough road blocks for all 3 teams remaining. In Alabama's case, they are still a good to great team (very undisciplined though) and Bryce Young is still a miracle worker. However, back to back road trips @ LSU and @ Ole Miss in November are concerning. |

The Rolling Tide suffered a disappointing loss under the lights, which drops them out of the top 4. However, Nick Saban told his team after losing at Tennessee that every goal was still attainable, the depth of this team is more then enough to get them back in the playoff race. |

Tough last second loss against a dominant offense. Bryce Young did everything he could to keep the Tide alive, but sloppy play and penalties have shown this Alabama team to be more vulnerable then they have at almost any other point in Saban's tenure. |

Last week #1 at #7 Tennessee lost 49-52. Just like against Texas, the Crimson Tide started off slow in the 1st quarter this time being down 21-7. Looked like they would bounce back nicely, but ironicly (Bama fans were bragging about not having kicker problems) Alabama missed a potential game-winning FG that lead to Tennessee winning on a GW FG of their own. Next week vs #24 Mississippi State. |
