I saw what Clemson had to do to stay undefeated, but they are still undefeated.  They keep the top spot. |

Really struggled with where to place these guys after the UNC game. Ultimately, Clemson has consistently had a late September surprise against a smaller team, but then turns around in October/November/December and murders any larger opponent. It seems like their training cycle is designed to have them fatigued and sluggish this time of year, and then they get tapered a bit and take off. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and keeping them at #1, but if they keep playing close games into October then I will drop them.  |

I'm still putting them at one.  Everyone needs to chill, UNC is not a bad, with a HOF coach and Clemson was on the road.  I see no reason to drop them.  |

Not an ideal showing on Saturday, but a win nonetheless.  UNC played a great game and might be a fringe top 25 team by the end of the season.  Still using a bit of 2018 to justify this ranking, but the pieces are all there and the team is still undefeated.  |

I'm not going to overreact to this game. Clemson outgained UNC overall & per play, on top of losing a fumble at their own 42. The Tigers weren't the worse football team even for a moment. But they look lazy. The simple fact that it wasn't a blowout tells you Clemson's not all there right now. |

Struggled unexpectedly and could definitely say they were lucky to escape with a win, but here we are. Would still be third even without the anchor that is GT weighing down their SOS. |

(195 + 39 -> 234; 16 -> 4) What a terrible showing last week. Clemson nearly reminded us what the word "Clemsoning" means, and only the misguided bronze balls of Mack Brown stood in the way of Clemson's first loss in nearly two calendar years. And boy, did those balls take a battering. (-3) |

Clemson drops to #4 as their wins over TAMU, Syracuse, and UNC aren't as good as the wins of the teams above them. |

I have moved Clemson down to 6 after a wildly disappointing performance against UNC. The lackluster performances of late, combined with the fact that a not that Clemson may not face a single team that ends in the top 25 by end of season, means that Clemson needs to either impress or win out(or both) to make the playoff. Luckily, both are attainable goals with their talent. |

Clemson moves up in my poll mostly due to other teams losing. They struggled with UNC. Their best win is texas a&M, who is looking pretty shaky. Clemson may need to go undefeated to get in.  |

UNC ain't great. Should have won by 35+ according to last week's model, or 30+ according to this week's model in order to not affect their place from last week. |
