steelcitygator Ballot for 2019 Week 6

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 30, 2019, 12:38 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Well they didn't struggle against the resurgent Mack Browns so good on you.
Auburn Tigers Bumped over Clemson because they just did really well against Mississippi State and honestly has had some slightly less struggles recently than Clemson.
Clemson Tigers They did struggle against the Tar Heels so no #1 for you.
Ohio State Buckeyes They just look so damn good.  Like who is gunna beat them at this point pre playoffs?  Basically Penn State and Wisconsin are the only hope.
LSU Tigers They dropped a little, mostly because Auburn and Ohio State are really good.  This top is gunna start shuffling a lot more I feel.
Georgia Bulldogs Bulldogs got to just move about depending on what others did.
Oklahoma Sooners This offense just hit ludicrous speed.
Wisconsin Badgers You really gotta beat Northwestern worse than that.  That said you still won but maybe we got a little to high to quickly on the Badgers.
Penn State Nittany Lions Still my dark horse playoff team.
Oregon Ducks Still just inside the Top 10.  Feels like the calm before a slide to come.  Especially with how close the Pac-12 has been.
Florida Gators Handled business, huge test with Auburn coming to town for homecoming.  Would prove a lot of people wrong with a win this week.
Texas Longhorns I will be in attendance to watch them dismantle West Virginia.  It will tell us absolutely nothing and I really just want the Oklahoma game to get here because my god that should be what peak Big 12 is supposed to look like.
Boise State Broncos Bye week Boise still leads G5 in my polls.  Go Murder Smurfs.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish So they dropped a little hard last week and I expected a rebound into this range.  Also Virginia might not be the ACC #2 after all.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons 5-0 Wake?  FIVE N O WAKE!!
Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa just does Iowa things.  Remain scarred of Kinnick and mildly annoyed if you get them at home.
Utah Utes I still just dont know about most Pac-12 teams and thats probably why theres 3 in the bottom half of my top 25.
Texas A&M Aggies Towing the line Texas A&M.  Still a ways to go.
SMU Mustangs He hath risen 3 decades later.  Mustangs are legit good, probably my 2nd favorite behind Boise for G5 auto-bid.  Biggest challenge will be Memphis or UCF in conference.
Memphis Tigers I still really like them while they look not exceptional, but maybe that's just their MO.  Also Ole Miss giving Alabama a quarter certainly makes that win look a little better.
California Golden Bears Really Cal?  Making me rank ASU?  Thanks a lot.
Michigan Wolverines Dismantled Rutgers which somehow still feels like a bit of an accomplishment for this year's Michigan squad.
Washington Huskies Husky's are still chugging but the Cal loss looks less bad and USC is so inconsistent that you wont really rank that win till the years over.  Just hard to see this team as a Top 10 threat while still a favorite in the conference.  Just Odd.
Arizona State Sun Devils We are slightly firm with 2 really good wins against MSU on the road and Cal but how do you losse to Colorado?  They are... not good.
Appalachian State Mountaineers App State for NY6 bowl.  That is all.  Also honorable mention to Oklahoma State as they were just left off in favor of the Mountaineers.
