GenialGiant Ballot for 2019 Week 6

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 1, 2019, 9:18 a.m.

Overall Rationale: I'm still just using a human ballot; I'll hopefully switch to a hybrid no later than the end of this month. First N Out - SMU, Oklahoma State

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama has looked great so far this season, so here they are, sitting pretty.
Georgia Bulldogs Georgia has probably the best win of the season to date, so they make the jump to second.
Clemson Tigers After an ugly win, Clemson finally has all it needs to drop out of first place.
LSU Tigers Part two of Tigerfest, LSU has looked great so far this season.
Auburn Tigers The last of the trio of top-ranked tigers, Auburn has some good wins to their credit and hope to continue their success.
Wisconsin Badgers The Badgers had a rough go of it against Northwestern, but they still look like a top team.
Ohio State Buckeyes With the Wolverines having a(nother) down year, the Buckeyes will likely need to fend off only Penn State in the B1G East.
Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma has been firing on all cylinders against bad teams; we should be able to find out more about them over the next couple weeks.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame may not be undefeated, but they have some solid wins and played respectably against Georgia.
Penn State Nittany Lions The Nittany Lions absolutely annihilated Maryland on Friday night, making the jump into my top 10.
Texas Longhorns Texas' main claim to fame is their close loss to LSU, but they'll look to expand their resumé as they move into conference play.
Iowa Hawkeyes The Hawkeyes are a solid team, though their next couple weeks will surely test them.
Florida Gators The Gators sure are something, though what that something is, I'm not quite sure.
Oregon Ducks Suddenly, the Ducks are the Pac-12's best hope.
Boise State Broncos Boise State keeps winning, so they keep climbing.
Washington Huskies A win over USC was just what the Huskies needed to right the ship.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons It may not have been the prettiest of wins, but Wake Forest is 5-0, including a win over a UNC team that may be better than a lot of people thought.
Utah Utes The Utes are stuck in the churning middle of the Pac-12 conference and will hope to distinguish themselves over the coming weeks.
Arizona State Sun Devils The Sun Devils held firm this past weekend, spoiling the best shot the conference had at the playoff.
California Golden Bears Cal lost a tough one against Arizona State, but that doesn't erase the rest of what they've accomplished this season.
Michigan State Spartans With Arizona State ranked, it's hard to not consider the one-loss Spartans for a spot in the top 25.
Memphis Tigers I'm sure Memphis wishes they'd done better against Navy, but I'm still liking them out of the American.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan trounced Rutgers, but their schedule gets a lot harder as Iowa comes to town.
UCF Knights UCF put away UConn and moves back into my top 25.
Virginia Cavaliers After a tough loss to Notre Dame, UVA slips in my rankings.
