Didn't look as good as Washington, but I also believe Auburn is better than Notre Dame, so Michigan is below Washington. I think Michigan will be decent this season. Might end the season in the 10-15 range. |

lel Jam Hardballz is 0verat3d talk started up after they lost to Notre Dame. It's week 1, that happens, but keep in mind that Michigan was an 8.5 point underdog. They weren't actually expected to keep it as close as they did if you include the late TD. Mostly, they just ran into a better team than them, and I think a large drop would not take into account the actual quality of the side, which has problems but is still a Big Ten East contender. |

Shea Patterson looked pretty good on Saturday, regardless of Braylon Edwards' psychological need to scapegoat. This offense just isn't built for success and I doubt Jim Harbaugh will ever be the answer at Michigan. Still, their defense is solid and they will win their fair share of games again just as they do every year under the current regime. |

Michigan came really close to Notre Dame. However, a loss is a loss and it does not look good right now when the vast majority of top-25 teams are 1-0. Michigan will slowly have to make it up until their match at Northwestern. |

Didn't look very good vs ND, though it was still close. Only reason they're above MSU, is cause they also looked bad, but that was to a bad team.  |

4/5 in Tier I: Despite loss, it was on the road against a quality ND team. |

Got beat by a Notre Dame team that I think is really good. Played okay after a terrible start. |

Michigan didn't look BAD against ND, but they also didn't look great. It's going to be another tough year for Harbaugh. |

Some bias here, however Michigan looked good in certain areas, and awful in others. Bad, lackluster playcalling, limited risks and an iffy performance by the defensive ends the first half gives a lot of questioning to this team. The first half the DEs were overshooting the QB way too often. They cleaned it up and took care of ND well the 2nd half allowing only 3 points. The offensive line was torn to shreds by ND's defensive line. Not sure at this point if it was a really good ND Dline, or a really bad Michigan Oline. Remains to be seen. |

The wolverines did not impress in week 1, and despite a clear step forward in QB play, the defense, shockingly, didn't do enough to keep Patterson in position to win. Michigan is too talented at all positions to have this constantly happen. |

Lost on the road, but to a pretty good looking ND squad. Let's see if Harbaugh can pull it together for conference play. |

Michigan struggled at times on the road against Notre Dame, especially on offense, as they turned over the ball twice and only had 58 passing yards. However, despite Shea Patterson not being able to find the endzone, he put up over 225 yards and had a completion percentage of 66 percent. The defense allowed two touchdowns on Notre Dame's first two drives, but then shut the Irish down for much of the second half. The Wolverines still have a nasty defense, and will have a few games to get the offense going before going into the nasty back half of the schedule. |

Gameday in South Bend was too much for Harbaugh and the Fighting Khaki Mustelids. If they can't beat Notre Dame, how can they expect to beat Penn State, Michigan State, and Ohio State? |
