Have gone back and forth on LSU-Georgia over the last few days, but the Tigers just don't need to install as much as UGA does. Dawgs lost a lot from their nasty front seven, and Baker's gone too. UGA's coordinator situation is totally from scratch, including a first-time playcaller at OC, and I really rate Dave Aranda. This was a tough call but I stand by it. |

LSU looking to be one of the most talented teams in the nation this year but they have to be able to beat Alabama it has been a good while since LSU has been able to do that. |

LSU has a rough schedule to say the least. Despite that, I think I have them favored in every game except Bama which I consider a toss up. I think they come out swinging early and throttle the Longhorns. LSU also returns and impressive 76% of their production meaning they just continue grinding down in death valley.9-10 wins feels right for LSU, but I think they have the potential to absolutely run their schedule with the right breaks and a healthy team. |

Burrow impressed me after I thought he was knocked out of the game in the Fiesta bowl, he got up and went on to torch UCF. |

For LSU the composite talent difference between them and Georgia is virtually the same (910.44 for them vs - 910.99 for Georgia).Unfortunately for them, even with top talent and coaching, they'll have a very hard time making the playoffs with both Georgia and Alabama standing in their way. Joe Burrow will have to take his game to another level for them to have a chance. |

LSU had a solid 2018 and, despite losing some talent to the NFL, looks poised for a strong 2019 as well. |

Jeaux Burreaux leads the Tigers again this year, and I think they have a chance at the SEC West. They get unlucky with the schedule @Alabama, but if they can pull the upset in Tuscaloosa, the world is their oyster.  |

Ed Ogeron was once a laughing stock as a college football head coach. After leading LSU to a 10 win season in 2018, that's no longer the case. The road won't be easy with both Texas and Alabama on the schedule, but the Tigers always field a talented, nasty team. |

I think they are a bit overhyped this year (I don't think they seriously challenge for the playoffs).  Especially tough because they're conference is gunna be tough this year with Alabama, Texas A&M, and an Mississippi State team I expect to take a step up.  That is a big thing limiting how high I'm willing to put them in preseason. |

I have LSU a little lower than what many others will probably have them because I'm not quite sold on them as an "elite" team this year. The talent is undeniable, but with a younger RB room, a lot rests on Joe Burrow's shoulders. If the Joe Burrow in the last several games of the 2018 season shows up, we're probably looking at a 1 or 2 loss LSU team that will easily make a NY6 bowl. If the Joe Burrow of the beginning of the 2018 season shows up, we are probably looking at a 3(or so) loss LSU team. I'm guessing 2019 Joe Burrow is somewhere in the middle in terms of the "two Burrow's", which means my preseason view of LSU is that they are a top 10, but not championship contending, team. |

Many, if not most, had 2018 penciled as Ed Orgeron's final season at LSU; instead he went 10-3, finishing in the top 10 and reclaiming fan support. Personally I still hate the promotion of Steve Ensminger to OC, but redshirt senior QB Joe Burrow might be ruff and tuff enuff to run any offense successfully. |

Record: 10-2. For the most part, LSU beats who they should beat and lose to teams they're expected to lose to. They take a tough loss to Texas in Austin and lose a semi competitive game to Alabama on the road but pick up quality wins over Florida and A&M. Bowl Projection: Orange Bowl |
