Wins against bad teams, but there is a slight margin of victory element that Wisconsin is totally cashing in on. |

Back-to-back shutouts gets my attention. They may bowl over Michigan this week the way both teams are playing right now. |

Am I this high on Wisconsin? No. But all they've done is dominate lesser opponents while everyone in my poll last week from 7-11 needed to drop. Wisconsin has Michigan next so they both have a very good chance at earning a top 10 spot immediately. |

The only thing better than elite defense and an elite run game is elite QB play, which is the one ingredient that Wisconsin may still be looking for. If Jack Coan can perform in big games, Wisconsin can go toe to toe with anyone in the country. |

I think Wisconsin is back to where they were a couple years ago which is really scary for the rest of the Big Ten, the offensive firepower is one thing but two straight shutouts? big test with Michigan in a couple weeks |

They may not be good teams that Wisconsin is annihilating on the field, but they are truly annihilating them. Two shutouts in a row is worthy of being rewarded. +8 |

Wisconsin is here in the Top 10 as teams ahead of them underperform and they have demolished both opponents and not given up a point. |

These guys might be a little bit high but the complete domination at the line of scrimmage, even against the weak opponents, plus Michigan moving down, Notre Dame on bye, and Penn State staying their course, I couldn't see a reason to put them below those teams. I have a feeling they'll move down as we get more data. |

BIG jump this week, I know their competition hasn't been great, but they have destroyed them. And Bama is #2 doing the same thing so this seems fair.  |

Wisconsin is back to normal? Even if their competition was either clinically depressed from a long losing streak(USF) or just plain old not good(Central Michigan) Wisconsin has been beating ass and looked well rounded from both sides of the ball. Count them down as the Big Ten West favorites for now. |

I try really hard to use really conservative methods and avoid overreactions, but they haven't allowed a *point* yet. Their peripherals are good, their returning production is good, maybe Jack Coan is good too.  |
