peachios Ballot for 2019 Week 3

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 8, 2019, 5:36 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Feel like we're going to start getting some bigger swings now

Rank Team Reason
Clemson Tigers Still the best team, strong showing against a goo Tamu team, especially the defense.
Alabama Crimson Tide Wrecked New Mexico State, still nothing too crazy to rank Bama on with the teams they have faced, but certainly not letting anyone scare them
Georgia Bulldogs Another SEC team who played a team that we can't say much about. Though again they absolutely wrecked them, so Georgia should stick.
LSU Tigers That offense was looking great, maybe Texas' is good as well, but the defense might need to be better verse some other teams. DBU seemed not true in this game.
Oklahoma Sooners Obscene offense from Hurts again to wallop South Dakota
Ohio State Buckeyes Thought Cincinnati might give them a scare ssince I wasn't high on OSU getting a new coach QB combo. I was wrong, decent jump here.
Texas Longhorns Not dropping them much at all to barely losing to LSU, and almost got a chance to try and tie. Offense looked great, so that defense will need to step up.
Auburn Tigers Getting a decent bump more due to others doing meh, and their win seeming so strong last week. 24-6 against Tulane seems a little odd, but they do have a Frosh QB.
Florida Gators Nothing much this week, wrecked Tennessee, but not the one that is 0-2 and lost to Georgia State. The one in Martin.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish nothing week. Getting a little bump due to Michigan starting to slip even though they keep on playing.
Wisconsin Badgers BIG jump this week, I know their competition hasn't been great, but they have destroyed them. And Bama is #2 doing the same thing so this seems fair.
Penn State Nittany Lions Doing some good work, poor Idaho last week. Though they waited for the second half against Buffalo this week.
Utah Utes
Michigan Wolverines Still winning, but such a close call against Army, and didn't look amazing last week either. Going to have a big drop from me, partly because I was so high on them as well.
Oregon Ducks After such a close call last week (or blowing it) came back really strong against Nevada.
Texas A&M Aggies I know a garbage time touchdown makes it seem better, but if felt like Tamu did ok against the best team in the country. Losing doesn't seem that harsh.
UCF Knights The souths Boise State its starting to feel like, just as a G5 doing well. Probably better than BSU anyways.
Iowa Hawkeyes Beat Rutgers and held them to 0 is decently impressive. Though it was Rutgers, should have an interesting time next week at El Assico. I know ISU lost last week but still likely trying to take out in state rivals.
Boise State Broncos Not sure Marshall's pedigree so a 14-7 win seems not the best, but they gutted it out at least.
Washington State Cougars WSU often has pretty weak OOC schedules, that continues this year, luckily blowing out these teams at least.
Washington Huskies As I was caught outside during the storm the delayed game likely messed with their rhythm, and I know Cal has an amazing defense, but I would've figured UW should've won. Getting a bigger drop than their running mates, mostly due to competition.
Michigan State Spartans A surprisingly strong offensive showing beating another Michigan directional school
Maryland Terrapins Not sure if this is just September Maryland or competition, but Maryland looks really strong so far
USC Trojans While Fresno last week looked not the best they didn't have th QB they wanted. Well this week the second stringer had enough practice to show he is pretty good.
Virginia Cavaliers
