Oregon is once again one of the front runners in the PAC-12 and they bring in some good talent recruiting-wise. |

Justin Herbert will be one of the best QBs in the country behind one of the best offensive lines in the country. That fact alone is going to take Oregon a long way. An early test against an intriguing Auburn team will tell us a lot about whether Oregon is destined to be a PAC 12 contender or pretender later in the season. |

Mario Cristobal has all the pieces in place to win the Pac-12 this year. Having QB Hebert return for his senior season was a major coup. Coupled with a very good o-line and a solid RB corps, the offense should the strength of the team. I don't know if this will be a Chip Kelly-good offense, but it should make the Ducks proud. |

I put my other PAC 12 favorite at 12  because I can. Oregon is absolutely in a conference championship group, but has to punch up a little against a Washington team that looks really tough this year. Outside of that game, Auburn at the season opener is an intriguing game, Washington State can't be overlooked, and I am surprisingly scared of Montana. All in all, I think the PAC 12 is decided when the Ducks and Huskies face off. |

Record: 10-2. Oregon-Washington comes down to HFA for me. If the game was in Eugene, Oregon would be sitting somewhere in my top 6 and Washington would be down here. Unfortunately for Oregon, the game isn't in Eugene, close losses to rival Washington and Arizona State deny Oregon a chance at a NY6 game. Bowl Projection: Alamo Bowl |

I'm just not sold on this team.  They weren't super impressive to me last year.  I'm not even sold on Herbert being the best QB in the draft this year.  I think this team is getting a lot of talk to early.  There is still growth needed to get back towards Chip Kelly Oregon heights. |
