Virginia Tech just beat Delaware this week (nothing special), but their win over West Virginia keeps them here. |

WOOO HOKIE TOP 10 HYPE TRAIN but yeah Virginia Tech has a solid win against West Virginia. I'm probably a lot lower than most people are on West Virginia, but Will Grier might be able to do some great things with that team, and overall I'd probably say this win is a tick better than either of SCar's wins, it's just that there's not a huge distinction and SCar has two of them. |

Biggest early season win in the Coastal, but won't be tested again until Clemson, at best to get it out of the way early? |

Struggled a bit on offense, but they may not need to score too many points this season to win a lot of games. |

I still believe WV was a solid victory, but the Hokies won't be getting another real challenge until the Clemson game and MAYBE the Old Dominion game. |

The Hokies have one of the better victories so far with their neutral field win over rivals West Virginia. Tech kept their winning ways going this saturday.  |

+1 spot (previously 15). 2-0. Shutout Delaware. 27 points scored is good, but not quite what they should have done. Regardless, their defense looked pretty good and so did their passing. Their rushing needs some work. |

Good win against WVU. Not a great performance against Delaware, though. Foster gets the benefit of the doubt, not ready to do that with the offense. |

Virginia Tech may have jumped higher in the rankings if it weren't for a somewhat shaky offensive performance against the FCS Blue Hens. Josh Jackson continues to be up-and-down, as expected for a freshman, and should be much more up than down by the end of the season. The defense has the ingredients to play with anybody. |
