Doogitywoogity	23	Heartbreaking loss. And really a good showing overall from Houston. The season is long and it’s a competitive Big XII this year so don’t count UH out for the Big XII title game yet. Georgia Southern and UCF should be easy games before dealing with a resurgent Kansas state. Then again, space game may be chaotic as it often is. If Houston can take care of business down the stretch they’ll still be a very well regarded team, it’s just going to be much harder this season.

d1sportsball	15	Houston lost by inches on a 2 point conversion to Texas Tech, and will be treated similarly to Louisville. Their offense is electric while their defense could use some work. Granted, they have a much weaker resume, but the close loss still keeps them right in the thick of the Big 12 title race. With a tougher schedule, any 3+ team tie favors Houston.

_THE__BOULDER_	17	That game was wonderful to watch. I really thought Houston had that game going into OT, but they came up just short. I've been relatively high on Houston from the start, believing that the 13-22 ranking gap between them and Texas Tech was much too wide. I had them at 17 last week, they lost to Texas Tech by 2 in the last minute in Lubbock. I can't really fault them for that. Keeping them at 17.
