Overall Rationale: Based on my last week’s rankings- my top 25 still maintains positioning from my end of 2026 top 25. Philosophy considers head to head, quality wins (opp w/ 4 or less losses) and quality losses (loss against ranked team). Early season order will remain mostly unchanged except if a team looses. A team that looses early will be dropped hard, but can make up positioning as season progresses. TAMU and UVA both drop out with losses to unranked teams. HOU holds position with close loss to TTU on the road. WVU slotted 24 with win over UVA. MSST slotted 25 with wins against two P4 with combined record of 4-2 (FLA and UCLA both with two wins against P4 but opp records are worse, 3-3)
