Overall Rationale: Going to respect the fact that Ole Miss have easily the second biggest win of the season after Texas, so will deservingly rank them in 2nd, while Miami and Notre Dame had mixed performances, Georgia continued to destroy their opponent.
Had to drop Oklahoma after that offensive performance, it feels harsh to drop SMU but the other teams near the bottom of these rankings deserve it more currently.
Just missing out: SMU, Oklahoma, UCLA, Tulsa, Washington

Another terrible first half performance, unable to run the ball before both the defence and Russell took over after the 2nd weather delay and the running game started to gel too. I am concerned about the secondary, since this is meant to be the strongest part of the team but FSU ripped them to shreds in the first half. The win over Kentucky looks a lot better now though and if this team turns up for the first 2 quarters of games they could be elite. |
