| Extra_Excrement | 1 | Hard not to put Alabama at #1. Saban continues to prove that he's the best in the game and Alabama always reloads every position. They played a lot of backups during their comeback against Georgia. I still wake up in cold-sweats because of Tua. I imagine he'll have this effect on many people until he's drafted. |

| Grimbo_Reaper | 2 | I mean. Do I really need to explain why the returning king is still in the top four? Especially when they won the NCG with a true freshman QB? Damien Harris returning is also huge to me. Not that it would matter, if every starter declared it'd be hard to justify dropping them out of being a playoff contender. Damnit. |

| LeinadSpoon | 5 | 2017 bama was one of the worst bama championship teams, but they did still win a share of the national championship.  They lose a bunch of players to the NFL.  Nick Saban seems to seamlessly reload every year though.  A number 5 ranking is a balance between how I think this team looks on paper and "but it's bama". |
| wazoheat | 11 | SABAN WAS UNABLE TO BE REACHED FOR COMMENT DUE TO PRESIDING OVER 3 PRESEASON HONOR KILLINGS AND ONE RITUAL SACRIFICE. IT USED TO BE 4 RITUAL SACRIFICES BUT ALABAMA RAN OUT OF VIRGINS. |
