Until I see different, they are the front-runners in the B1G. And I don't see the PAC or Big 12 putting a team in the top four on merit alone right now.
Ohio State proves that their resurgence the past month was no fluke. Despite numerous errors early in the game, putting them down by three possessions, they rallied in impressive fashion to down the Nittany Lions and control their own destiny to the B1G championship and the playoff.
My preseason #1 has been dominant over the past month and finally got a big win to prove that they have turned things around. I believe the Oklahoma loss is in the past for this team.
The buckeyes have a quality win over Penn State, but that's their only win. They also lost to Oklahoma at home, so that keeps them behind the Sooners.
Ohio State gets their big win with a comeback 1-pt home win. They control their destiny now, but for the time being they don't quite have the resume for the playoffs.
Fantastic comeback win over PSU this weekend.  I've been hard on the buckeyes due to their weak schedule, but if they win out, they will have the schedule and potentially good loss early in the season to Oklahoma.  +3 from last week
