PLRCOAT: 4. Louisville has two really solid wins here. North Carolina is at 1.5 for beating 1-pointer Old Dominion, while that Purdue win is looking good at the moment - mostly because the Boilermakers have two FBS wins, something that roughly 2/3rds of FBS cannot claim. One is over 0-pointer Missouri, but the other is 1-pointer Ohio, which puts Purdue at 2.5. Louisville is actually tied with #7, but I gave them the nod due to liking Lamar Jackson & co. more than I do... Kentucky??? |

not a playoff contender at this point, but still a good team with a remote shot to make some noise late in the season. if only to take down the SEC East and ACC Atlantic champions Kentucky and Wake Forest |

Louisville stays in the top 15 with the number 15 spot after a loss to Clemson. Jackson will still get to shine the rest of the season, and this team will get a chance to climb the rankings with a game against Florida State in a few weeks. |

Lamar is good, the rest of the team is suspect. |

Yeah, I know.  They probably shouldn't be this high - but if the AP can put Auburn at 15 then I can put Louisville at 16.  Expect the Cardinals to bounce back from their wholly expected but not disastrous loss. |

How much to ding you guys for the loss to Clemson? I have no idea, cause I didn't watch any of the game. I'll put you here. Feel decent about it, especially because Purdue actually looks halfway okay. |

Lamar Jackson is still a stud, but his supporting cast isn't quite up to snuff, and the team is visibly discouraged when trailing by a couple scores. |

Couldn't even compete with Clesmon honestly, and if it weren't for a respectable schedule thus far especially Purdue winning they would be lower. |

Louisville got cut down by the buzzsaw that is Clemson. Tough game, but the Cards still have a former Heisman winner on the squad. They'll be just fine. |

Louisville's only loss was to my #1 team, Clemson. They also have a win over Purdue, which I'm starting to believe may be a decent win? That seems ridiculous. Will find out what Purdue is made of this week against Michigan, though. |

Lost in fairly dominant fashion to the new number 1 team in the country. Causes them to drop a few spots with the loss, but they stay in the top 25 because it's a loss to a very good team. |
