Losses: Mississippi State (34-41), @Alabama (18-49), Kentucky (34-35), Georgia

Comment: The win over Oklahoma doesn't actually move the needle much for me, but losses by teams that were ahead of them like SMU, Oklahoma State, and Northwestern helped catapult them back into my rankings.

elnino550 23 Clearly the best 3-loss resume, if they can win out that would include a win against Georgia then I believe they would be the first 9-3 team to make the CFP.
HideNZeke 23
Jakesnake42 23 Who thought SCar would be in serious top 25 conversations after their 2-3 start. But beating Tennessee and Florida does do a good job of making that case. Last Week: NR

tbraptors 18 I considered ranking S Car after last week, and I probably should have. Winning against Oklahoma does not reveal a lot more about this team, but I have amended my error and have them ranked. They have 3 losses. One bad loss to Miss St, though that was with Kamario Taylor. Two top 10 losses to Bama and Kentucky. However, they have a top 10 win, and another top 25 win against Florida, which is much better than Wake Forest's wins

rob_bot13 19 1663 points: Lenoris Sellers is good again? South Carolina remain one of the most confusing teams in college football. Very happy Alabama got them when they did.
Aggravating-Funny569 20 Losses to a Kamario Taylor led Bulldogs, Alabama, and Kentucky + a win over Tennessee.

KingYeetusV 22 Highly volatile. Could easily be 7-1 with a loss against Bama. COCKtober is quite the spectacle.

_THE__BOULDER_ 23 At this point I think South Carolina is much better than we gave them credit for early in the season. Or, at least, they're better than I gave them credit for and have been getting into form. Oklahoma's defense is no slouch and South Carolina scored 45 on them. This was an offensive performance and SCAR did very well to bounce back after Sellers threw a pick 6 allowing Oklahoma to tie it up early in the 2nd quarter. This is South Carolina's 3rd straight win. I'm curious to see if they keep it up. Their next two games are very winnable - TAMU and Arkansas. They do play UGA in 3 weeks but then face Clemson after Thanksgiving. Of those games, 3 of 4 are very winnable and I wouldn't be upset to see them go the distance.

ResearchFlaky5912 23 I bring in the gamecocks as (1) the permission structure has been expanded to allow 3-loss teams now, (2) two of their three losses are to top10 teams, (3) they did beat Florida H2H, (4) a lot of teams that could have occupied this zone lost [see above]. I think that the poll is less wonky overall with SCAR included. It justifies the placement of a lot of other teams.

FickleWolverine 24 Probably the hottest team in the country right now, I wouldn't want to play them. Two of their three losses were close.
