KingYeetusV Ballot for 2026 Week 10

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 1, 2026, 8:39 p.m.

Overall Rationale: This is my first ballot attempt. Going primarily by W-L, Head-to-Head and context behind the records. I don't envy the AP voters or the Committee one bit.

Rank Team Reason
Utah Utes Had a close game against Colorado, but has otherwise been convincing in every contest, especially against Houston and Cincy.
Miami Hurricanes Had a scare against both FSU (need I say more) and UNC (solid team), but has played admirably otherwise. Has a win against a solid Wake Forest squad.
UCLA Bruins Has won every game, but has UCLA played anyone of note yet? If they continue to win, they'll stay around where they are. Being undefeated in 2026 is a luxury.
Georgia Bulldogs Got exposed by Auburn at home, but has otherwise played soundly through this buzzsaw of a season.
BYU Cougars Their only loss is to UCF, who hasn't been too bad aside from the Baylor game, which could easily be chalked up to a newly-fired Head Coach.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Here mainly because I believe BYU and Notre Dame are practically equivalent and I don't see how ND is better because they have a better loss, because they lost to the team that beat them and their loss is better.
Indiana Hoosiers They've played a ton of close games and managed to clutch all of them but one, and only lost that one by a foot, literally.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons Playing great football with only a loss to Miami. They mean business.
Kentucky Wildcats Practically on par with Wake Forest, but their loss is less impressive, given how the season has gone thus far.
Texas Tech Red Raiders Lost to Cincy by a ton. Managed to clutch out a game against Arizona the week after. The team is looking better with a different QB at the helm.
Houston Cougars Impressive resume thus far, with losses to only Texas Tech and Utah.
Texas Longhorns Texas just had to go and lose to Oklahoma, didn't they? At least it was close. Florida is a hair more excusable. Otherwise a sound football team.
Tennessee Volunteers Convincingly beat Alabama and lost close to Texas and SCAR, who has been quite volatile.
Alabama Crimson Tide Has good wins against SCAR and Kentucky. Just didn't handle business against UGA and Tennessee.
Iowa Hawkeyes Got blown out by Ohio State prior to Sayin going down. Lost close to Minnesota, who played admirably against IU.
USC Trojans Blew the doors off of a Sayin-less Ohio state. Struggled against Rutgers. Lost to a questionable Oregon and Wisconsin.
Ole Miss Rebels Lost badly to Florida and played close with Texas.
LSU Tigers Has good wins against Auburn and Clemson. Has a good loss against Kentucky and an alright one to Ole Miss.
Missouri Tigers Lost badly to Ole Miss and lost a close one to Miss State. No real statement wins other than Florida.
Ohio State Buckeyes Lost to USC, by a lot more than one would expect from Ohio State. Has statement wins against Iowa and Indiana. Looks like an entirely different team without Sayin, and that's not a good different.
Boise State Broncos Close loss to Oregon Week 1. Otherwise have not dropped a game, but almost managed to do so a couple of times.
South Carolina Gamecocks Highly volatile. Could easily be 7-1 with a loss against Bama. COCKtober is quite the spectacle.
Virginia Tech Hokies One of the unluckiest teams in the ACC, with unexplained losses against Pitt and Cal. Even with that, Grunkemeyer is looking pretty good so far. If this team didn't mulligan the 3rd Quarter of every game thus far, they'd be an undisputed Top 10 team (I'd personally have them at 4, based on resume).
Duke Blue Devils Comparable wins and losses to Virginia Tech, just a slight bit behind with a loss to GT.
New Mexico Lobos Close loss to Oklahoma. Otherwise spotless and looking to have a stellar season, with hopes for the CFP.
