tbraptors Ballot for 2026 Week 10

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 1, 2026, 9:58 p.m.

Overall Rationale: General priority is: 1. Overall Resume 2. head to head 3. performance

Rank Team Reason
Utah Utes Has better wins than Miami (Houston and Cincinnati > Wake Forest) and not as many poor performances
Miami Hurricanes
UCLA Bruins No ranked wins, but have beaten a few 25-30 teams.
Georgia Bulldogs
Texas Longhorns
Alabama Crimson Tide
BYU Cougars BYU drops after a close performance vs a bad team, but also Georgia cementing themselves with another ranked win, dragging up the SEC
Kentucky Wildcats
Tennessee Volunteers
Ole Miss Rebels
Notre Dame Fighting Irish ND drops in my poll quite a bit, even after winning. The rationale is that BYU happened to drop, while other teams around them have better wins
Ohio State Buckeyes
Indiana Hoosiers Indiana can't be above Ohio St, having lost to them and having no ranked wins. Still they have beaten a lot of #25-35 range teams
Texas Tech Red Raiders
LSU Tigers
Arizona Wildcats Arizona does not drop by much for me. Two top 15 losses, but held up with a win over Cincinnati. Indicative more of the flaws of the teams below them than their own strength
Houston Cougars
South Carolina Gamecocks I considered ranking S Car after last week, and I probably should have. Winning against Oklahoma does not reveal a lot more about this team, but I have amended my error and have them ranked. They have 3 losses. One bad loss to Miss St, though that was with Kamario Taylor. Two top 10 losses to Bama and Kentucky. However, they have a top 10 win, and another top 25 win against Florida, which is much better than Wake Forest's wins
Wake Forest Demon Deacons Could be the 3rd best team, could be the 30th best team. Still need them to win against better teams
Missouri Tigers
Florida Gators Florida now have all 3 of their losses against ranked teams, with two top 10 wins as well. They are very difficult to rank in all honesty
USC Trojans
Iowa Hawkeyes
Boise State Broncos
Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati are just holding on to being ranked after last week. Their win against Texas Tech is a better win than any of the bubble have, and their sole unranked loss was a tight road shootout defeat against a solid WVU team. I prefer them over New Mexico, with no big wins and a loss to Oklahoma, and UTSA, whose only loss is to Texas but with their best win being against USF and with two close wins over bad teams.
