Charlemagne42	8	Winning in the SEC is hard. Really hard. Just ask Nick. In fact while Alabama is #8 on this list, they're #4 in their own conference. 10-2 and a playoff appearance isn't bad at all. But it'll barely be enough for DeBoer to hold onto his job. He'll be the prime target of hot seat whispers next summer, especially if recruiting falters.

Doogitywoogity	11	Interestingly a career defining season for DeBoer or however it’s spelled. I equally want to see the team trip on itself like a core collapse supernova, as much as I don’t want to underestimate Alabama or Coach DeBoer. He’s a good coach and they’re a team that recruits well. The two basic ingredients for a good year. I’m hoping for a hilarious beat down of FSU week 1, followed up by an even more hilarious collapse the rest of the season that will be equally humiliating for both schools.

Real_TSwany	8	Coming off an embarrassing first year for DeBoer, at least by Bama standards. But that's still a Top 15 finish. Sure, if Saban were still around, this Crimson Tide team would be starting Julain Sayin. But this is Kalen's Alabama team now, and Ty Simpson isn't some pedestrian. KDB knows a stud QB when he sees one, and that's been proven by Michael Penix's stardom at both Indiana and Washington. Don't brush off the Tide just because the dynasty's over. A brand new one could very well begin.

I have my doubts about KDB’s fit culture wise in Tuscaloosa and last season didn’t do anything at all to quell them. Ty Simpson isn't gonna be an overnight fix and they need to find consistency in the run game. Defensive backfield even without DeVonta Smith (no not that one) still looks insane though
