woakley | 7 | BYU is #2 in returning production this year. This returning production on a team that was top 20 last year makes me think that BYU has a chance to be very strong this year. |
noahthearc | 9 | 127.8 points -> NY6 Favorite. This whole favorites list is gonna seem absurd, but BYU just missed the lead in returning production and has 97% of their defensive production coming back this year. A tough schedule awaits, though. |

SpadeRyker | 12 | BYU has a tough schedule which can be both a blessing and a curse for their program. It allows them to make a claim to the CFP if they can go undefeated and bring down some of the elite teams on their slate. But losses will weigh heavy on them if they can't make it count with this team. They have talent on both sides of the ball and can take it to nearly anyone in the country, but how they perform with so much on the line is yet to be seen. |

bretticus33 | 17 | BYU returns most of the starters from a 10-3 team including many key starters. The offense will revolve around QB Jalen Hall with Tyler Allgeier now in the NFL, but he has to stay healthy for BYU. The defense should be a very strong unit again, and even more so with injured players returning. |

MrTheSpork | 20 | Good season and almost everything returns; lucky (4-1 in one possession); coaching staff intact; average recruiting. If the returning players click, BYU could be great, but it's not guaranteed. |

RaceScottRace | 14 | Higher on BYU than most. I think them being out west and independent unfairly hurts their perception and preseason coverage. This is a really good football team that scares the daylights out of me with Baylor going to Provo in Week 2. I expect them to make a lot of noise this year yet again. |

dusklord1 | 16 | BYU went 10-3 last year and returns almost 90% of their production, which is absurd. Their schedule is quite difficult this year, with 4 AP-ranked teams and a handful of good to great G5 teams. Their record might not indicate improvement, but the product on the field should. |

mcguffinman | 22 | Kalani Sitake has lead BYU to some incredible wins in the past few years, finally winning the Holy War again, at USC, and that incredible 2020 run just missing out on the undefeated status with Coastal Carolina narrowly winning. It's a new year for the cougars, and Jaren Hall seems ready to step up to the plate carrying on the BYU QB legacy. |
