The addition of a win over Michigan means that Notre Dame has 2 top 20 wins, more than any other team in the country. Note: Although the poll doesn't incorporate roster changes into its methodology, the change to Ian Book really aids ND in putting rough games against Ball St and Vanderbilt behind them.

The schedule is pretty rigorous, there are a ton of talent, top coaching experience, etc. I repeat since week 0, Notre Dame has what it takes to the CFP, and now they are executing more of it.

Miami_da_U	4	They stomped Stanford. Combined with the close win vs Michigan to start the season, they deserve to be ranked top 5. However I believe they will regress back down once other teams start playing quality opponents. I think they might lose to VTech on the road. FSU and USC while they aren't very good, I think those are 2 teams that have the athleticism to beat ND. Up to this point their big games have been against teams that play their brand of power football. I think you beat ND with Speed.├é┬á

Bc Michigan was the only team in their tier and ND beat them H2H, I made a judgement call to combine the tiers so that that I could rank ND ahead of Michigan.
