Washington is really impressing me this year. They've been one of my favorite teams to watch play, but, as I said with Michigan, I need to see them challenged before I'm willing to move them higher.
Washington hasn't played many good opponents yet. Their here because tons of teams just haven't performed to expectations. Washington finally enters Pac 12 play so we should finally know if this team is for real.
The Huskies once again destroyed an inferior team, and looked good doing it. Their only mark at this point in time is they haven't played any decent teams. They open conference play next week @ Arizona, which is not a gimme game by any means. The real test will come in 2 weeks when Stanford makes their way to Seattle.
The win over Rutgers is looking slightly better. Which sounds ridiculous but there it is. The Huskies are here on potential and not on field performance thus far as the level of competition has been terrible. Huge three game stretch coming up.
I'm lukewarm on the Huskies. They won games they should have won and they looked good doing it. This is Chris Peterson's 3rd season, but until they get into the thick of Pac-12 play, its hard to say where they will fall.
