Colton3690 Ballot for 2016 Week 4

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 19, 2016, 12:49 a.m.

Rank Team Reason
Houston Cougars Wins over Oklahoma and @Cincy are looking very strong at this point
Ohio State Buckeyes OSU's win @Oklahoma was possibly the best of the year. Houston gets the nod for number one because their win @UC is a little better than Ohio States wins over Tulsa and BGSU
Alabama Crimson Tide Offense has struggled a bit out of the gate, but wins @Ole Miss and vs. USC are right up there
Louisville Cardinals The win over FSU was very impressive; that win coming at home has Louisville just a spot below the other top teams though
Stanford Cardinal Two good wins under their belt so far, the Cardinal looks like the favorite out west, but it will be interesting to see how they do when they hit the road for UCLA this week
Texas A&M Aggies Two good wins as well for A&M has them a spot below Stanford. Though one win did come on the road, these games were a little bit closer than Stanford
Wisconsin Badgers Big concern for the Badgers whose offense really struggled without Corey Clement. The win against LSU is still looking very strong
Arkansas Razorbacks One very good win against TCU, which came on the road but required double OT
Michigan State Spartans Came out and smashed Notre Dame. The game against Furman keeps them behind #7-8 however
Clemson Tigers Blowout against SCST didn't add to their resume this week. Still just the close win @Auburn to go on their resume for notable wins
Utah Utes Gritty team so far with a solid win over BYU
Nebraska Cornhuskers Solid win over Oregon at home this week boosts Nebraska
Georgia Bulldogs Unimpressive wins @Mizzou and against Nichols the past two weeks, but their win over UNC in Week 1 keeps them from dropping back too far
Western Michigan Broncos Two decent wins for the Broncos against lesser Big Ten teams both coming on the road
Michigan Wolverines I like their win over Colorado this week, though they had to come from behind after a slow start. Their other wins are relatively unimpressive despite high MOV
San Diego State Aztecs Their win over Cal is looking even better this week after Cal knocked off Texas, followed up by a road win against NIU
Tennessee Volunteers Close games against smaller schools (App St, OU), and an ok neutral win against VT makes for a relatively thin resume to this point
Washington Huskies Just have the win over Rutgers going for them at this point still after notching wins against lesser teams the past two weeks
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Two P5 wins against BC and Vandy deserves some credit
USF Bulls A win over Syracuse this week looks good for USF when added to the win over NIU last week
Miami Hurricanes Three decisive wins, though getting a convincing win @AppSt gets them to slip into the rankings this week
Arizona State Sun Devils Shootout victory over TTU followed by a close game @UTSA has ASU toward the bottom of the rankings for now
Oklahoma State Cowboys Really solid win over Pitt. Hard to figure out what to do with them after the CMU ending. For now, OSU becomes the first team with a "loss" to get ranked this year, but they are not getting credit for winning that game either
Army West Point Three wins to start of the year, and have looked solid doing so
North Dakota State Bison Huge win over Iowa this week. This team is one of the best in the country, hands down.
