I personally think that Penix Jr has played his way to being the best overall QB in the FBS this season, and Washington is rolling right now because of it. If USC does make the CFP, then Washington should represent the PAC 12 vs Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, and what a QB battle that would be. |

| Dawg-Bite | 9 | Washington has wins over Oregon and Oregon State who are ranked, but are behind Penn State because of a terrible ASU loss and I’m just not as confident in the Washington defense. Also (and I can’t believe I’m saying this because I sound like a damn committee member) they don’t control games as well as Penn State. Washington usually just goes toe to toe with their opponents instead of dominating like Penn State does. |

| meowrkatt | 9 | The Apple Cup is a game you need to throw out the record books for, and Washington got it done in a way I was very impressed by. Michael Penix Jr. is the leading passer in all of FBS football, and for good reason. All around in this offense you see talent, and though the defense isn't all there, allowing Arizona to score 39 on them and suffering a tough loss to Arizona State the week before that, they still look like a worthy adversary for any team in College Football right now and a very good team. |
