Good returning talent alongside proven coaching staff. The ACC schedule is going to be very favorable for them as well. |

Honestly, I'm not too sure what my actual opinion of Notre Dame is.  They have a lot of talent and generally perform well against their regular schedule.  This year is different.  Their schedule actually got (mostly) easier.  This year also confirms what we already knew: Notre Dame is basically in the ACC and needs to just go ahead and join.  Watch them get waxed by Clemson but blow through the rest of the teams they face. |

Notre Dame has themselves a good football team. |

Notre Dame has been a consistently solid team the past few years. I would expect them to remain in the top 10 throughout the year, but I don't see them unseating Clemson at the top of the ACC. |

The Irish are playing in a conference for the first time in any CFB fan's lifetime. This significantly increases their odds of making the Playoff and winning the Championship, even if they lose their only challenging game to Clemson. |

Just join the ACC for God's sake.  They are just so above-average, they'll finish the season 8-15 every year. |

-3 | 75.3 | Notre Dame tested fans mightily by having better overall stats in 2019 than in 2018, yet having a significant drop in production for QB Ian Book and a worse record. In the ACC this year, their season will revolve around the early-November showdown with Clemson. |

Notre Dame lost a lot on defense. Like, a *lot*. The offense is in better shape, but they're going to look like a Wisconsin clone -- run the ball effectively, but struggle to adapt if they can't run over you. They're killing it in recruiting, though; they'll be back in the national title hunt by next year. |
