Cobainism	23	It's a shame that Texas ended up ranked in the preseason polls, but not Colorado. This team continues to rise to the occasion under HC Mike McIntyre, as the defense shut down rival Colorado State (who scored 62 points vs P5 Oregon State the week prior) in a packed Denver stadium. QB Steven Montez might be the real deal as well. It's just too bad that the refs wanted to play in the game as well...

Extra_Excrement	23	I wasn't very confident in placing Colorado in my week one ballot. Honestly, I was considering placing Utah in their spot. Colorado State looked good against the Beavers and I figured that Colorado would lose to the Rams. I was wrong. Losing Sefo may not matter too much since they didn't even have him playing all of last year. After their game against Colorado State, twitter and r/cfb alike cried the tears of Ref-ball victims. Controversy aside, they still beat Bobo's CSU team. Winter is coming but the Buffs are cozy in the top 25 for now. No need to pay the gas bill because Texas's dumpster fire is supplying enough heat to keep the ranked teams content.

beerslingerjay	24	Colorado State put up a million points on Oregon State, then put up 3 against Colorado. Yes, Oregon State has an atrocious defense, but Colorado completely halted a confident team in a season-opening rivalry game. Impressive.
