There's a ton of talent on this team and this was their best showing of the season, but it was also against one of the worst FBS teams.  Considering how Rutgers has been playing thus far, the Buckeyes might be on upset alert in New Jersey.
of the Quality Loss tier, I still think Ohio St probably has a better track record than some of the teams ranked above them, and like Florida they'll have a great season even if they wind up on the outside of the playoff picture.
A solid team that needs to work out kinks at QB and maybe second part of the season they tear up whatever godforsaken team has to run through that buzz saw. Good showing against Akron ultimately means little.
Ohio State beat up Akron as they should have. Their performance has been pretty uneven this year (seems to be a theme with many of these top 10-15 teams) but they still belong up here for now.
