I don't think this pick, at least, should be super controversial; you've got Jimbo Fisher coaching a very talented team with a very experienced defense and a fairly experienced offense that returns its (good) QB.

The Seminoles should be challenging one or two other teams (Ohio State, Alabama) for the best defense in the nation this year, and one of the best defensive lines as well. They return 9 starters and get back the nation's best safety in Derwin James. The offense has a few more question marks around running back and both tackles, but they're questions that will likely have very talented answers. Truth be told Francois needs to take a real step forward for them to earn this spot, but suggesting a freshman QB might take a step forward is not that unrealistic.

BabyBladder	4	A favorable schedules allows the Seminoles to go 11-2 in the regular season, losing to Alabama in the opener by a small and respectable margin. They also lose to Clemson while exacting revenge on Lousiville in the ACC. However, thanks to Clemsons 2 ACC losses, the Seminoles head to the CCG.Oddly enough, of my 4 predicted playoff teams (and not surprising ones), each plays at least 1 other projected playoff team in the regular season. The committee puts the only 2 loss team at 4, and in order to avoid rematches in the semi-finals puts OSU at #1 in order to allow fresh matchups.

The school had a college of medicine. FSU kept the title "University of Florida" until 1903. For some reason the name was never embraced and seldom used.
