Their remaining schedule of Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri and LSU is a double edged sword. It is very difficult and losing one of those games makes playoff contention much less likely, but if they win all of them it would be them out of playoffs even with 2 losses

Oklahoma did lose to Texas, which is bad, because Texas isn't good, but they did beat South Carolina and Auburn, two opponents in common with Mizzou, by more points. Using the transitive property to say Oklahoma is the better team here.
