Overall Rationale: The title of the poll is “Great Teams Cover.” My poll is based on performance against betting spreads. Essentially, exceeding expectations against highly ranked teams will earn you a bunch of points, while failing to meet those expectations against bad teams will lose you even more points (@Nebraska). 200 points for win, -200 for a loss. Brackets for points against the spread are also used which correspond to the ranking of the opponent for the percentage of points that the team can receive.
