+2 spots (previously 18). Out offensive line opened up a lot of holes for our run game. Our defensive line sacked Minnesota's QB many times during that game. Overall, our team looks stronger and stronger but we still don't have a lot of pass opportunities and our 3rd down completion still sucks and we need to halt the penalties. But no turnovers was definitely a good thing. This team still needs to prove themselves, and I think Wisconsin will do just that.
Finally, after the stands had emptied and the team had showered and left
the locker room, the coach noticed that this young man was sitting
quietly in the corner all alone.
The Wolverines are now in a place where they need to prove themselves. Michigan comes off a trophy game and looks towards 3 increasingly difficult games to round out their season. If they can win out, they could be considered for very high ranks based on win record.
I would love to leave Michigan out of my rankings entirely, especially since they have lost to the only 2 good teams they have played, but there really isn't anyone else who deserves to be in above them. They do win the games against the bad teams they are supposed to beat. Their last 2 games are against Wisconsin and Ohio State, so they can prove they belong.
