no change - going to keep the model rankings here because yes Oregon did beat them, but it was extremely close and Oregon had home-field advantage. So you could definitely make the argument that OSU is the better team on a neutral site. I don't necessarily agree with that argument though. |

Close loss to Oregon but they still look like one of the best teams in the country. Making a minor exception to my rule and using the eye test on this one. |

Tier 2. A one-point loss on the road to the number 2 team doesn't hurt them much. Losing your starting LT and exposing issues with the secondary might however. |

-3, where do I begin? Best roster maybe ever and they find a way to lose to Oregon. Season’s already less than it should be even if OSU wins a natty. Yes, the fans are spoiled but who cares? It’s no different than every southern fanbase |

A super-close loss on the road against the #2 team in the land makes it not such a bad drop for the Buckeyes, especially considering that they were in GW-FG range at the end before an unnecessary offensive PI from Jeremiah Smith took them out of range. The Buckeyes have been a force so far this year, but now their rankings is somewhat tethered to the Ducks, so Ohio State better hope that Oregon doesn't take a bad loss similar to Georgia watching Alabama lose to Vanderbilt. |
