NEW, was debating between adding teams such as Toledo, UCLA, or Miami in this spot, but Florida having a better win than any of those teams, and no complete wtf losses like Miami, gets them into my poll for the first time this season. I expect a competitive game against Georgia because Florida is competitive with everyone this season, in ways good and bad. |

Considered a few teams. Tulane struggled. OSU ruined a Big XII team getting the spot, practically single handedly. Ultimately, this came down to Florida or Tennessee. I've been lower than others on UT for basically the whole year. Their resume, in terms of game results, is very similar, though I haven't looked at stats. A loss to a top 15 team and a loss to what is probably currently a top 30 team. Ultimately, there is one difference. UF beat a top 30 team, who I have at 26. UT has no good wins. So the game that sets them apart is their head to head. UF should be higher than UT. If you disagree, tell me why. |
