| bretticus33 | 2 | Michigan and Jim Harbaugh finally won the B1G and in the process cemented their spot in the CFP.  I almost had Michigan and Alabama as 1A and 1B, but all that really matters is being in the top 4.  Michigan has a good chance of playing a team that can stifle their offense, so it'll be interesting to see if they can diversify the O enough to stay in a CFP game. |

| TheFlyingBoat | 2 | It feels odd describing the winningest college in the history of the sport as the plucky underdogs that have managed to pull out victories that one would not expect, but after 70 years and half a national title or 1 Big 10 title following their loss to Vince Young's Texas team on Jan 1, 2005 (yes, long enough ago that Vince Young hadn't crushed the hopes and dreams of USC just yet). Anyways, Aiden Hutchinson is just one of two elite lineman on the team and Hassan Haskins has proven to be an elite running back. My worry is that against Georgia, Cade McNamara's mediocrities will be thoroughly exposed. Fun fact at half time of the B1G Championship, Cade McNamara was not the leading passer for Michigan (neither was McCarthy). That being said with an SoR of 2 and an F+ of 4 it is hard not to slot them in here. |

| YellowSkarmory | 3 | Michigan also has a great top win, at home against Ohio State, but I feel like their depth is more comparable to Cinci's; wins against Iowa in the B1G championship game and at Wisconsin are solid, and they do have a road win against Penn State and a win against MAC champion NIU, but really they just don't have wins that are quite good enough to get above undefeated Cinci. The loss at Michigan State isn't that bad, and is really more of a missed opportunity than anything. |
