Overall Rationale: “Deservedness” - no team can be ranked over another team with 2+ fewer losses. Ex: 10-2 team can be ranked over a 11-1 team, but 10-2 team cannot be ranked over a 12-0 team. Essentially, a power ranking with limits. Rankings based on seen games as well as metrics for unseen games. -Week 0-3: Deservedness structure not used (due to majority of non-con games played); 0 will base power rankings, 1-2 will be somewhat based on performance and record -Week 4: Deservedness structure in place for Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac-12 teams (as they will have played vast majority of their non-con games) -Week 5+: Deservedness structure in place for all schools (as vast majority of all non-con games will have been played)
