Zloggt Ballot for 2022 Preseason

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Aug. 23, 2022, 12:18 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Not sure - at this point of the season, I look at both the AP/Coaches, and ultimately, my own personal gut feeling. I know that preseason Top 25 rankings don't hold much weight, but I still feel like how I rank these teams will seem "right" in a way.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide No surprise here
Georgia Bulldogs
Ohio State Buckeyes Feel like Georgia is slightly in a better spot - but only slightly
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Not sure if #4 high - but hey, it'll make for a killer matchup between Irish and Buckeye!
Michigan Wolverines
Clemson Tigers Am I bearish on Clemson? A bit - I know they're good, but are they THAT good?
Texas A&M Aggies In all seriousness, I kinda feel bad for the Aggies. They got the talent AND coaching to be good or even great, yet they are always in a position where there is little room for error...if at all...
Utah Utes
Oklahoma Sooners
Baylor Bears
Oklahoma State Cowboys The top trio of the Big 12 are arguably interchangeable with each other tbh
Oregon Ducks
NC State Wolfpack The Wolfpack are an enigma - but it'll still be cool to see them succeed!
Michigan State Spartans
Pittsburgh Panthers
USC Trojans It'll take time for Riley to get this thing going - I think #16 is perfect
Wisconsin Badgers
Arkansas Razorbacks Hogs got a lot looking up for them - perhaps they are much lower than they should be?
Miami Hurricanes I'm not going to fall for ranking Miami highly again - temper expectations!
Wake Forest Demon Deacons The whole Hartman thing may have dampened expectations a bit, but not to worry - Wake can still be Great!
Kentucky Wildcats
Cincinnati Bearcats Are the Bearcats doomed to fall into irrelevancy this time around? I hope not, but I suppose we will see...
BYU Cougars Coogs can surprise this year, I think - so why not give them a bit of a chance?
Ole Miss Rebels
Houston Cougars
