(Computer #13: Iowa) Looked sluggish early against a bad/bipolar Stanford team, but got their shit together in a hurry and stepped on their neck to win by 21 and finish 10-2. NY6 maybe? Money involved with ND in anything makes me think yes.
I have the Irish lower than many due to the lack of a real quality win. Their schedule is typically tough, but 2019 was an aberration. They lost their two key games and hold wins over a lot of teams in the middle of the pack. Other teams have better records and/or with quality wins.
Stanford made it interesting for a while, but Notre Dame has been reliably killing the teams they're supposed to kill, and they didn't pass up any opportunity to extend their margins in this one.
10 - 2. Blew out several opponents this season. Looked great offensively most of the season. Best wins over Navy and USC. Loss to Georgia and a huge loss at Michigan. Head-to-head with Michigan is the reason for their ranking in this spot.
-2 (ND falls because I didn't feel that they deserved to be ahead of Michigan despite having one fewer loss. A surprise since I usually only factor in head to head when teams have the same amount of losses. This also affected Alabama.)
