1 Alabama Crimson Tide Beating the hell out of a very well hyped FSU team is not to be ignored.
2 Clemson Tigers Absolute domination over Kent State. Will need to watch week 2 to see if they can continue doing this with sturdier opponents.
3 Penn State Nittany Lions Blanked Akron. 
4 Oklahoma Sooners Took an up-and-coming UTEP to the woodshed 56-7.
5 Wisconsin Badgers Got a small scare from Utah State, then turned on the burners and got it done.
6 Michigan Wolverines Hard-fought battle vs a well-prepared Florida.
7 Oklahoma State Cowboys Tulsa really didn't stand a chance and the Cowboys didn't keep it close. They scored first, got their big lead and just ran with it all game.
8 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State drops due to getting a real good scare from unranked Indiana. That score does NOT accurately tell how close that game was.
9 Auburn Tigers Big win over GA Southern.
10 Florida State Seminoles A loss, coupled with the loss of their star QB will hurt. 
11 LSU Tigers BYU played WAY better than they had against Portland State in the previous week, but LSU in their first game still beat em pretty handily.
12 Virginia Tech Hokies Just watch their game vs WVU.
13 Stanford Cardinal They beat the hell out of Rice....but it's Rice.
14 Kansas State Wildcats Initially back and forth, but found their groove and finally really took it to Central Arkansas.
15 West Virginia Mountaineers Lost to VT in an incredible defensive battle of a game. WVU is a team to watch and 15 I think may be their low point for the season.
16 USC Trojans Got a very serious scare from a Western Michigan team that no longer has PJ Fleck nor any of his recruits.
17 Washington Huskies They got a scare from Rutgers. Yeah. Rutgers.
18 Louisville Cardinals The Purdue Spoilermakers very nearly lived up to their name, but were instead only one score away.
19 Florida Gators Only TDs for the Gators were scored by the Defense, and they seemed to run out of steam in the third quarter. They are playing a young team, but with their schedule they could be in trouble.
20 Georgia Bulldogs Appy State scares again, but at least Georgia pulled away.
21 Washington State Cougars Solid win. 
22 Maryland Terrapins Showed their teeth in a game against a ranked Texas and won.
23 Miami Hurricanes
24 USF Bulls
25 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa played very well against a team touting one of the best rated QBs in the country, and beat them pretty handily. Look for Iowa to surprise everyone.
