19.4, +3.2, +6, 20.1 (9th), 18.6 (8th). Where did that come from? The Wildcats made Oklahoma State look like a generic FCS school, and that vaults them into the top 10 for the first time this year.
Kansas State now owns probably the 2nd most impressive win of the season with their complete skullfucking of Oklahoma State without Adrian Martinez. This was just about a perfect game from the Wildcats and has to make you wonder what could have happened against TCU had Martinez not gotten hurt.
Into what I have allotted as the set of 2-loss wagons with Utah and LSU. Could put as high as 11 based on recency, but we'll see how QB shakes out moving forward.
Are *they* the #12/13 best team in the country? Maybe so-- and maybe they're even better than that! They started off the season looking shaky but have been anything but for the last several weeks.
(side note: I think it is a shame that there aren't more Big XII/B1G Ten bowl games, as I would've loved to see Kansas State play Illinois in one-- but neither of these teams are going to the Guaranteed Rate Bowl... guess I'll have to hope for some weird stuff to happen so that we might get that matchup in the Cotton Bowl or something)
The blowout over Oklahoma State might be a fluke, but beating a ranked opponent with a backup quarterback is impressive and their only two losses are to other teams also ranked
Last Week #23 vs #8 Oklahoma State Won 48-0. Absolute domination vs the Cowboys. You were probably wondering how a G5 school was able to jump 5 spots while on a Bye Week and that's because the team they beat on the road just dominated a top 10 team like they were an FCS squad. From kickoff to QB kneel to end the game, at no point did anyone think that the Cowboys had a chance. This Week vs Texas.
